TQ902 vs TQ402: Order Code Changes, Replacement & Application Guide for Proximity Sensors

TQ902 111-902-000-011 and TQ402 111-402-000-013 part numbers are always by a lengthy order number string. These ordering numbers are quite important, as each code represents the configuration of the sensor. From these codes, the operating environment, body length, unthreaded length, cable protection and total system length can be read directly. 

However, with the upgrade from TQ402 to TQ902, some ordering codes have also changed accordingly. The environment code A is simplify, since it may be hard to determine which explosive zones the sensors will be installed in by the clients.  The codes for Body length(C), unthreaded length(D), integral cable length(E) and flexible hose length(G) are numerical and the units all converted to mm. The cable protection code F has been simplify as well, reduce the options down to 5. Unthreaded length code D is changed from D000 to D2, with a new minimum value of 2 mm.
